Water Services (Exempt Charges) Bill 2014

Public bill · Private Member · Introduced

Irish Water would be barred from charging a household for water while a boiled-water notice is in force or the supply is contaminated, with the exemption continuing until the problem ends. The measure, introduced by Deputy Barry Cowen, would amend the 2013 water-services law and take effect on a date set by the Minister.
