Freedom of Information (Amendment) Bill 2014

EirGrid would be brought under Ireland’s freedom-of-information rules, so people could request access to records it holds, subject to the usual exemptions. The change would add EirGrid plc to the list of public bodies covered by the existing legislation, improving transparency around its work.
