Intellectual Property (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2014

The Bill would let pharmaceutical and veterinary medicine developers carry out research and testing needed for marketing approval without infringing existing patents. It would also update Irish trade mark rules so Ireland could join the Singapore Treaty, including allowing unregistered licensees to take part in infringement cases.
