Consumer Protection (Regulation of Credit Servicing Firms) Bill 2015

The Bill would require firms managing loans, including loans sold to another company, to be regulated by the Central Bank so borrowers keep key protections. It would also give affected borrowers access to the Financial Services Ombudsman and ensure relevant protections continue when credit-union loans are sold.
