Postal and Telecommunications Services (Amendment) Bill 2015

The proposal would require the Minister, after consulting interested groups, to direct the communications regulator to place a public-service obligation on An Post. That obligation would require An Post to maintain the existing post-office network and its current level of services throughout Ireland, helping protect access to post offices, particularly in local communities.
