Water Services (Amendment) Bill 2015

The proposal would require a tenant’s written consent before any personal information about them could be transferred to the subsidiary involved in water services. Information already transferred without consent would have to be destroyed, subject to verification by the Data Protection Commissioner. It would take effect three months after being passed.
