Curragh of Kildare Bill 2015
Public bill · Private Member · Introduced
The proposal would create a Curragh of Kildare Advisory Committee, bringing together representatives of the Defence Forces, local farmers, racing, sporting, heritage and environmental interests, Kildare County Council and relevant Government departments. Meeting at least quarterly, it would advise the Minister on managing, protecting and preserving the Curragh, including whether it should become a national park with better public access.
