Credit Guarantee (Amendment) Bill 2015

The Bill would update the State’s Credit Guarantee Scheme to make it more useful to small and medium-sized businesses seeking finance, including by covering a wider range of finance providers and agreements. It would allow the Minister to guarantee up to 80% of qualifying unpaid credit, subject to limits including a €150 million annual ceiling, while setting rules for finance providers, premiums and withdrawing guarantees.
