Wildlife (Amendment) Bill 2015

Public bill · Private Member · Introduced

The Wildlife (Amendment) Bill 2015, introduced by Clare Daly, would prohibit hare coursing where dogs are used to chase and kill hares. It would also make it an offence to hunt deer with one or more dogs, or to release a deer so it can later be stalked or hunted with dogs. The measures matter because they would remove these forms of animal hunting from the activities permitted under existing wildlife law.

Formal long title

Bill entitled an Act to amend the Wildlife Act 1976 and the Wildlife (Amendment) Act 2010; and to provide for related matters
