Horse Racing Ireland Bill 2015
Public bill · Government · Presented
The Horse Racing Ireland Bill 2015 would strengthen oversight and transparency in Irish horseracing, increase ministerial representation on Horse Racing Ireland’s board, and clarify the separate responsibilities of Horse Racing Ireland and the independent racing regulator. It would improve controls on State funding, require greater financial reporting, regulate betting and point-to-point racing more consistently, support information-sharing and animal-remedies enforcement, and apply similar accountability rules to Bord na gCon; it would also simplify approval for forest roads.
Formal long title
