National Tourism Development Authority (Amendment) Bill 2015

Public bill · Government · Presented

Raises the cap on how much capital funding the Government can advance to Fáilte Ireland for tourism development projects and facilities, increasing it from €150 million to €300 million. It also updates the approval process so the consent of the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform is needed instead of the Minister for Finance. This matters because it gives Fáilte Ireland more room to support tourism growth and infrastructure when needed.

Formal long title

Bill entitled an Act to amend section 24 of the National Tourism Development Authority Act 2003
