University College Galway (Amendment) Bill 2017
Public bill · Private Member · Introduced
Seeks to undo the 2006 change to the law governing University College Galway and replace it with a new requirement that the college’s long-term plans give priority to teaching through Irish. It would also require the college president to be able to do the job in both Irish and English, so the college leadership can support Irish-language education in everyday practice.
