Life Saving Equipment Bill 2017

Proposes a new offence for tampering with lifesaving equipment such as defibrillators and lifebuoys, while still allowing normal testing, maintenance, and emergency use. It would punish vandalism, removal, damage, or other interference with fines of up to €50,000, prison for up to 5 years, or both. The aim is to keep this equipment available when communities need it most, especially in cardiac emergencies.
