Small Unmanned Aircraft (Drones) Bill 2017

Sets out rules for drone use in Ireland, including mandatory registration for drones over 250 grams or able to record images, as well as licensing, insurance, and training requirements for some users. It also limits where drones can fly, bans use that invades privacy or supports criminal activity, and creates penalties for unsafe or unlawful operation. The measure also allows designated test and recreation flight zones on State land.
