European Investment Fund Agreement Bill 2018

Lets the Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation and the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine make agreements with the European Investment Fund so more Irish businesses can get finance more easily. It is aimed at schemes such as the Future Growth Loan Scheme, helping small and medium-sized firms, including farms and food businesses, invest for growth in the post-Brexit period. The measure also allows the State to fund its share of these arrangements, with a planned cost of €62 million over five years for the loan scheme.
