Child and Family Agency (Foster Care Oversight) Bill 2018
Public bill · Private Member · Introduced
Sets out new reporting duties for Tusla, the Child and Family Agency, so its annual report must include detailed, anonymous figures on foster care and child protection cases. It also requires the agency to keep the records needed to produce that information. The aim is greater oversight and transparency about how often children enter care, how court orders are used, and how those decisions change over time.
Formal long title
Bill entitled an Act to amend the Child and Family Agency Act 2013 and to provide for related matters.
