Dublin (North Inner City) Development Authority Bill 2018
Public bill · Private Member · Introduced
Creates a temporary development authority for Dublin’s North Inner City, lasting up to 10 years, to drive social and economic renewal and improve the physical environment. It would coordinate public bodies, prepare regeneration plans, support investment, manage and dispose of State land for redevelopment, and help deliver recommendations from the 2017 Mulvey report. A minister-appointed board, annual reporting, audited accounts and oversight rules are built in, so the work is public and accountable.
Formal long title
Bill entitled an Act to make provision for the regeneration of the area of Dublin's North Inner City and for that purpose to provide for the establishment of a body to be known as the Dublin North Inner City Development Authority to oversee said regeneration, to define the functions of said body and to provide for related matters
