No. 1 of 2019Companies (Amendment) Bill 2019
Public bill · Government · Presented
Changes the deadline for filing a company’s annual return with the Companies Registration Office. Instead of having 28 days after the relevant date, companies would have 56 days, giving businesses more time to prepare and submit the return. It matters because it eases the filing burden and reduces the risk of missing the deadline; there is no cost to the Exchequer.
Formal long title
Bill entitled an Act to amend section 343 of the Companies Act 2014; and to provide for related matters.
