Raises the standard of Irish in public life by strengthening how public bodies provide services through Irish, especially in Gaeltacht areas. It would replace the current language-scheme system with enforceable language standards, aim for 20% of new public service recruits to be Irish speakers, require new public bodies to have Irish or bilingual names and logos, and make it easier to use Irish names and addresses with public bodies. It also sets up an Irish Language Services Advisory Committee, updates place-name rules after the old commission was abolished, and provides for bilingual jury summons notices.
