Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Amendment) Bill 2020

The proposal would change workplace safety law so that Covid-19 cases in workplaces must be reported to the Health and Safety Authority. Its aim is to let inspectors respond quickly, investigate outbreaks in places such as meat plants and healthcare settings, and help stop clusters spreading among workers.
