Planning and Development (Protect Social Housing) Bill 2020

Public bill · Private Member · Introduced

This proposal would change planning law so a specific rule in the 2000 Planning and Development Act is removed. In plain terms, it aims to strengthen the protection of social housing by deleting a provision added in 2002, which the sponsor says is no longer wanted. It also sets out basic definitions and the formal title of the new law.

Formal long title

Bill entitled an Act to amend the Planning and Development Act 2000 and to repeal section 97 subsection (3B).
