Wind Turbine Regulation Bill 2020

Seeks to tighten rules for wind turbines by setting limits on what can be exported from turbine projects, requiring minimum distances from nearby homes to reduce noise and shadow flicker, and giving the public a clearer role in consulting on new developments. It also sets responsibilities for planning authorities, makes owners responsible for financing and taking turbines down at the end of their life, and encourages community ownership.
