Tailte Éireann Bill 2022
Public bill · Government · Presented
Tailte Éireann would create a single public body to bring together property registration, land valuation and mapping services now spread across the Property Registration Authority, Ordnance Survey Ireland, and parts of the Valuation Office system. It would transfer staff, records, property, ongoing cases and legal responsibilities into the new organisation, while updating related laws and removing the old bodies. The aim is to make land and property information easier to access and use, and to improve how Ireland manages spatial data and land information.
