To ask the Minister for Finance how many firms in Cork City have received compensation for the burning of premises and destruction of stock in the pre-truce period, and if he will give the names of the firms to whom compensation has actually been paid, and the amounts paid in respect of stock and buildings in each case.

The Minister for Finance has asked me to say he has given instructions for the preparation of the information asked for by the Deputy, where available, and will communicate with him as soon as possible.
