asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware that a motor car, the property of Michael McMunn, Stoneyford, was commandeered by military on 24th May, 1922, that the car was worth £350 0s. 0d., and is now a complete wreck, and if suitable compensation will be granted.

I am aware that Mr. McMunn's car was taken by military and has been returned. The question of compensation is at present under consideration.
