asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware that a sum of over £250 is due to Mr. Carton, garage owner, Bunclody, Co. Wexford, by the Military; whether some of the amount is over two years due, although Mr. Carton has made several applications for same; whether he can say when this debt will be paid.

A claim for £280 odd has been received from Mr. Carton, who has been asked recently to furnish some missing particulars. On their receipt consideration of the claim will be expedited.
