asked the Minister for Education whether the details of the salary scheme for Secondary Teachers which was announced by him in the Dáil on 8th July last are yet available for publication, and whether he will take steps to expedite the operation of the scheme in view of the admitted urgency of the matter.

I hope to be in a position to make a definite announcement on this subject soon, that is, the details of a salaries scheme for Secondary Teachers.
