asked the Minister for Defence if he will state how many acres of the Government Farm at Lusk, Co. Dublin, have been let to graziers under the eleven months system, what proportion this acreage is of the whole farm, and whether on the expiration of the present lettings the policy hitherto adopted with regard to this farm will be reconsidered.

George Nicolls PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to MINISTER for DEFENCE (Mr. Nicholls) Cumann na nGaedheal

About 70 Irish acres of the Lusk Farm are let on the eleven months system. This acreage is 7/11ths of the total area of the farm. The policy as to the future utilization of the farm is receiving consideration at present.

Will the Parliamentary Secretary consult the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs with a view to ascertaining how he could profitably till the whole of this farm?
