asked the Minister for Finance whether early consideration will be given to, and settlement effected, of a claim for £10 5s. for a bicycle and carrier taken by members of the Irish Volunteers from Mr. McElligott, Drimoleague, Cork, in May, 1921.

I am informed by the Indemnity Act Committee that the claim referred to by the Deputy was not lodged with them within the prescribed period, and that they are therefore precluded from making any recommendation in the matter.
