asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if it is proposed to close the Post Office situated at Castle Street, Sligo, and whether he can state the annual cost of maintenance of this office, and the reasons for the proposals to close it.

It was proposed to close the sub-office at Castle Street, Sligo, but, on reconsideration. I have decided that the office will be maintained.
