asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether the Land Commission have received an application from Mr. Patrick Fanham, Dulane, Kells, son of an evicted tenant, for a holding on the Nicholson Estate, Balrath, Co. Meath, and if he will state whether his application is receiving consideration with a view to allotting him a holding.

Patrick Fanham was one of many who claimed that their predecessors had been evicted from the Nicholson estate. Owing to the necessity of relieving congestion in the district it was impossible to consider him, and others like him, for parcels on above estate.
