asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether it is the intention of the Land Commission to acquire two large farms, owned by men named Elliott and Nesbitt, at Stoneyisland and Oldthort (respectively), Portumna, County Galway (Clanricarde estate), for the relief of congests in that district.

The Land Commission have under consideration the question of acquiring the farms of Mrs. Frances Elliott at Stoneyisland and Mr. Hugh Nesbitt at Claggernagh West.
