asked the Minister for Defence if he will state when payment-of a military service pension will be made to Mr. P. Gilshenan, St. Doloughs, Raheny.

A certificate of military service for pension purposes was issued to Mr. Gilshenan on the 24th ultimo. The question of granting him a pension will be decided very shortly.

Mr. Darcy has not been granted a certificate of military service under Section 2 of the Military Service Pensions Act, 1924. The matter is, however, under consideration and will be hastened as much as possible.
