asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if he will take steps to expedite the completion of sales and the vesting of holdings in the case of the lands of Gorteenclareen. County Longford (R.O. No. 6834/3 and 4) held by Patrick Feeney, and also in the case of the lands of Gorteenclareen, County Longford (R.O. No. 6834/2) held by Bernard Ryan, in respect of which the agreements, for purchase were signed as far back as 1908, and the tenant purchasers of which are still paying interest in lieu of rent.

The Land Commission expect to be able to vest these holdings in the course of this month.
