asked the Minister for Finance what is the position in regard to the scheme proposed for the drainage of the Awbeg River, County Cork.

The Commissioners of Public Works have prepared a detailed drainage scheme in respect of the Awbeg River proposed drainage district. It is hoped to have this scheme exhibited within the next fortnight in order to afford the occupiers of affected lands an opportunity of signifying their assent to or dissent from it in pursuance of Section 7 of the Arterial Drainage Act, 1925.
