asked the Minister for Fisheries what is the total value of tenanted and untenanted land purchased under the Land Act, 1923, and the approximate value of land yet to be purchased; what is the value of tenanted and untenanted land purchased in County Limerick.

Up to the end of February, 1928, under the provisions of the Land Acts, 1923-27, the total price of tenanted land vested in the Land Commission amounts to £1,172,005 and the total price of untenanted land vested in the Land Commission under the Land Act, 1923, amounts to £2,016,111.

The respective prices of tenanted and untenanted land vested in the Land Commission in County Limerick are £58,265 (tenanted) and £79,230 (untenanted).

It has been estimated that advances amounting to £30,000,000 will be required to complete Land Purchase in Saorstát Eireann under the Land Act, 1923.
