asked the Minister for Fisheries if he will state (a) the total amount of Land Commission Annuities at present due in the County Longford; (b) the total amount for which decrees have been obtained; and (c) the number of defaulting annuitants and the total number of annuitants in the county.

The arrears of land purchase annuities in County Longford amount to £6,368. Decrees have been obtained in respect of £3,287 of the arrears. The number of annuity payers is 7,412 and of these 657 are in arrear.
