asked the Minister for Finance whether it is the intention of the Commissioners of Public Works to reconstruct the destroyed police barracks at West View, Cobh, and, if so, if he can state when building operations will commence.

The ex-Royal Irish Constabulary Barracks at Cobh is not the property of the State, and unless and until it can be acquired on suitable terms no steps can be taken by the Commissioners of Public Works for its reinstatement.
