CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL PROPERTY.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he can state if it is now possible for complainants under the provisions of the Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) Act, 1927, to take action for their own protection against infringements of their rights under the Act; and when it is expected that the first issue of the official journal will be published.

Patrick McGilligan MINISTER for INDUSTRY and COMMERCE (Mr. McGilligan) Cumann na nGaedheal

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. Work on the exceptional volume of applications lodged with the Industrial and Commercial Property Office immediately after the passing of the Act of 1927 has delayed the publication of the official journal, but the issue will commence as soon as the staff is able to make the necessary arrangements.
