asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he has received resolutions from the Urban District Council of Birr, Offaly, requesting him to meet a deputation from that body in connection with (1) the building of a central fever hospital for the county at Tullamore; (2) the utilisation of the Birr workhouse building for this purpose; or, alternatively, the transfer of the county home from Tullamore to Birr; and whether he will receive such deputation.

The request mentioned was received. The Urban District Council were informed on the 2nd instant that an inspector of the Department would interview them on the matter at an early date.
