asked the Minister for Fisheries whether the Land Commission have purchased or have under consideration, with a view to purchase, the estate of the late Miss Greene, of Airhill, Glanworth (County Cork); and, if so, whether he can state when these lands will be distributed amongst the landless men of the district.

The lands referred to have been inspected, and the Land Commission are negotiating with a view to their acquisition under the Land Purchase Acts.

Can the Parliamentary Secretary state when the negotiations will be concluded?

I cannot say.
