asked the Minister for Fisheries whether he will appoint a Commission to inquire into the unsatisfactory state of the sea-fishing industry in the Saorstát with a view to its establishment on a sound basis; and, if so, whether he can indicate the probable date of setting up such Commission, and its terms of reference.

I have decided to set up such a Commission as the Deputy refers to in his question and am at present considering the terms of reference and the personnel.
