asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state the number of ordinary telegrams and Press pages forwarded and delivered in each month between April 1st, 1927, and March 31st, 1929, by the Department of Posts and Telegraphs from (a) metropolitan offices, and (b) other offices, together with the total receipts and expenses in respect of the telegraph service during each of the following years which ended March 31st, 1928, and March 31st, 1929.

Complete figures for the financial year ended the 31st ultimo are not yet available, and will not be for some months to come. When they have been compiled, I will furnish the Deputy with the information he desires.
