asked the Minister for Justice whether he will consider the introduction in the immediate future of proposals for legislation to make the unauthorised borrowing of motor cars a criminal offence.

I hope that a clause to the effect indicated in the Deputy's question will shortly come before the House as part of the proposed Traffic Bill.
