asked the Minister for Defence if he will state his intentions with regard to the use of Mullingar military barracks, and whether, if it is not intended to utilise the barracks for military purposes, he will consider handing it over to the local authorities for housing or industrial purposes.

It is intended to utilise the barracks in connection with the requirements of the Army Reserve.
