asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether it is intended to increase the Agricultural Grant to local authorities for the financial year 1931-32, and if county councils will be informed of the amounts of any such grants before March 1st, in order that they may be able to frame their estimates and fix their rates accordingly.

County councils were notified on the 31st January this year that it is the intention to provide a double agricultural grant in 1931-32 on the same basis as in the present financial year.
