asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he is now in a position to indicate the terms of reference and the personnel of the Departmental Committee which he has undertaken to appoint to investigate and report regarding the amendment of the law relating to shops.

This question is at present being informally inquired into by officials of my Department who will call into consultation such officials of other Departments as they may think fit. It was not considered necessary to lay down precise terms of reference for the inquiry.
