asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is yet in a position to state when the proposed Bill dealing with mineral rights will be introduced; and if he is aware that in some districts considerable employment has been prevented by reason of the delay which has taken place.

I expect this Bill to be ready for introduction before the end of this month. No case where the giving of considerable employment has been prevented by absence of legislation has been brought to my notice.
