asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he will state if the site for the erection of the High Power Broadcasting Station at Athlone has been acquired, and will he further state when the work will begin.

The proposed site at Athlone has not yet been formally acquired, and I regret that I am not therefore in a position to say when the erection of the Station is likely to be commenced.
