asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state if the landlords still retain vested rights to seaweed on foreshores along the seaboard of North-West Donegal and Mulroy Bay and, if so, if it is proposed to secure these rights for the benefit of the tenant farmers.

The Land Commission are not aware of any cases in which the former landlords of maritime estates vested in the Land Commission retain the rights to seaweed on foreshores in County Donegal.
